Bob Ross & the Joy of Painting

Olly and I were out recently and saw a landscape that reminded us of "the joy of painting"... Kind of forgot about it until I noticed a photo shot by one of my Flickr contacts - she mentioned that the scenery looked as if Bob Ross had painted it... Aha!!! That was his name - Bob Ross - the cheerful, chilled dude with a 'fro who could create masterpieces within 30 mins. He was a celebrity chef but instead of rustling up some goodies to eat, he made beautiful eye candy. Bob died age 52 on the 4th July, 1995; but he'll always be remembered for his ability to chill you out. True genius!

"We don't make mistakes here, we just have happy accidents. We want happy, happy paintings. If you want sad things, watch the news. Everything is possible here. This is your little universe."
